Slider

Description

Web service for publishing a visual sequence of Cloud images with playback controls, preview, and statistics.

Use cases

  • Build carousels, galleries, portfolios, or visual slideshows.
  • Display a sequence of campaigns, products, or photographs.
  • Embed a lightweight presentation in another page.
  • Share images without creating a PPTX file.

How to create the service

Select Cloud > New item > Slider, enter a name and folder, and open the editor. Use the shared Cloud selector in multiple mode to add the initial images.

Interface and controls

The editor contains an ordered item list, multiple selector, visual settings, and a functional preview. Each item can be edited or removed and its order controls playback. Preview controls provide navigation and full screen. Header actions save, share, and open statistics.

Full workflow

  1. Select several compatible images from Cloud.
  2. Order the sequence and remove unnecessary resources.
  3. Configure dimensions, visual fitting, navigation, and available playback behavior.
  4. Check preview and full-screen mode.
  5. Save and publish the service.
  6. Share its link or embed and review statistics.

Supported files or data

The service accepts images registered in Cloud and available through the shared selector. Consistent aspect ratio and resolution produce the best result. The service stores file references; deleted or inaccessible files can leave an empty slide.

Configuration options

Options include multiple selection, order and item editing, size and aspect ratio, fit or crop mode, controls, navigation, autoplay, interval, available visual behavior, status, visibility, and public embedding.

Output and export formats

The result is a web slider, not a downloadable presentation file. Images retain their Cloud format for display. Use Image Studio, Video Studio, or File Transformer to create PDF, video, GIF, or PPTX output.

Saving, downloading and sharing

Saving retains settings and references and may create a version. Share by URL or embed when accessible. Users controls internal access. Original images are downloaded or transformed individually from Cloud.

Limits and technical requirements

Performance depends on image count, size, and dimensions. The browser must support their formats. Very different images can cause jumps or cropping. Browser policies may restrict autoplay when multimedia is involved.

Common errors

  • The selector does not open: confirm that the shared component and scripts loaded.
  • Thumbnails are missing: check preview generation, MIME, visibility, and file existence.
  • Full screen does not work: check browser permission and start it from a user click.
  • Preview does not change: save the order and confirm that more than one valid image exists.

Privacy and data processing

Publishing can expose images to anyone who can access the page. Avoid sensitive photographs or metadata, verify image rights, and restrict visibility for internal content.

Frequently asked questions

  • Can several images be selected together? Yes, the selector opens in multiple mode.
  • Is it equivalent to PPTX? No, it is a web presentation of images.
  • Why is an image cropped? Fit mode and aspect-ratio differences determine cropping.
