Description

Image editor by canvas and layers to create graphic compositions without replacing the source file. The editable project and exported images are managed from Cloud.

How to create the service

Select Cloud > New element > Image Studio, assigns name and folder and creates the project. You can also open a Cloud image with the Image Studio application to start editing with that resource.

Interface and controls

The canvas represents the visual result. The toolbar adds resources, text and objects and controls zoom, selection and transformations. The layer panel determines the order and selection. The inspector displays dimensions, position, twist, opacity, trim and settings of the active element. The history allows undoing and redoing, and the export panel configures the final file.

Full workflow

  1. Defines dimensions, orientation and bottom of the canvas.
  2. Add images with the common Cloud selector or create text and objects.
  3. Sort the layers and adjust position, size, twist and trim.
  4. Apply available visual settings and review transparencies.
  5. Saves the editable project and selects format, quality and output options.
  6. Export and download or save the resulting image to Cloud.

Supported files or data

The selector accepts the image formats registered and allowed in Cloud. It usually includes JPG/JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, BMP, AVIF, TIFF, SVG, ICO, HEIC/HEIF, JP2/JXL, TGA, DDS, PBM/PGM/PPM, XBM and WBMP, subject to browser support, GD or ImageMagick. A format can be supported as input even if the browser cannot export it directly.

Configuration options

It allows to configure canvas, background and dimensions; position, scale, twist, flip, opacity and trim; order and visibility of layers; text and objects; final format, quality, compression, transparency and specific parameters available for each extension.

Output and export formats

The catalog is shared with the Transformer and Cloud download. It includes common web and raster formats such as PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and TIFF, in addition to additional formats when ImageMagick is available. Quality only appears for outputs that use it and formats without alpha channel replace transparency by the chosen background.

Saving, downloading and sharing

Save keeps the editable project; export produces a new image. You can download it, save it to Cloud, transform it later or share it from the listing. Access to other accounts is managed from Users.

Limits and technical requirements

Basic exports use browser capabilities; advanced formats require ImageMagick 7 on the server. Very large images or many layers increase memory and process time. Animation, color profiles, metadata and bit depth may not be preserved when composing on canvas.

Common errors

  • The image does not appear: verifies that the extension and MIME are registered and that the resource is accessible.
  • A format is not available: requires browser support or ImageMagick in the process node.
  • Transparency is lost: select PNG, WebP or another alpha output.
  • Export consumes too much memory: reduces dimensions or number of layers.

Privacy and data processing

Selected images remain in Cloud and the project stores their composition. Export generates a copy. Remove sensitive metadata when applicable and make sure you have rights to use photos, logos and fonts.

Frequently asked questions

  • Is the original image modified? No, unless an explicit save action indicates otherwise; normal export creates another file.
  • Why do colors change? Canvas and some formats convert profiles or color spaces.
  • Can I reuse the result in surveys or events? Yes, save it in Cloud and select it with the common selector.
